The Bolton League of Fine Arts is located in the charming lake hamlet of Bolton Landing on the west shore of Lake George in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. For centuries the beauty of the area has inspired artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe and Elsa Steinback. Notably, Bolton was the home of the world renowned sculptor, David Smith. Some of his work is still displayed on his family's property near his Iron Works Studio.
The League encourages Bolton's yjoung artists, who plan to Major in Art or attend an Art School, by awarding with Soave Faire,a gift certificate to purchase art supplies Soave Faire of Saratoga Springs. All funds raised are put toward this Award.
